I graduated with my Master’s in Social Work from the University of Central Florida and have worked at multiple Universities including Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts Institute for Technology. I have additional experience in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Psychodynamic Approaches.

My work is holistic focusing on social systems with an anti-oppressive framework. I am passionate about treating the whole person which includes their environment, support systems, physical needs, and overall wellness. I have experience working with individuals who have experienced acute trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, acculturation and identity issues, disordered eating, stress management, body image, gender identity, and sexual orientation.  My work is empowering, collaborative, and non-judgmental; my goal is to create a unique space for each individual to explore their needs and be heard.

I am  also a certified yoga instructor and utilize yoga, mindfulness based stress reduction, progressive relaxation, and guided meditations in workshops and private sessions.
